BoergerGroep works

8 Jul 2009 Unit: Praktijkonderzoek Plant en Omgeving A successful meeting of ‘De BoergerGroep’ was held on 27 June on the urban estate ‘De Kemphaan’ in Almere. Boergers, a Dutch acronym of the words farmer and citizen, is a group of concerned citizens who wish to advance their ideas about countryside and agriculture.   After four regional evenings, people from all over the Netherlands have on Saturday 27 June been working on vision and agenda of the ‘De BoergerGroep’. Major issues were the Boerger’s views on the relationship between town and countryside, with their food, and the landscape.
